Chen Qun, vice mayor of Shanghai, is in charge of education, ethnic and religious affairs, sports, intellectual property rights protection,proposal presentation on government policies, overseas Chinese affairs, and literature and history.

He supervises the Municipal Education Commission, the Municipal Bureau of Ethnic and Religious Affairs, the Municipal Sport Administration, the Municipal Intellectual Property Administration, and the Municipal Counselor’s Office.

Chen Qun, male, Han Chinese, a China Democratic League member, born in April 1964, a postgraduate and holds a doctoral degree of science. He now serves as a member of the Standing Committee of the 13th CPPCC, vice chairman of the China Democratic League Central Committee, chairman of the China Democratic League Shanghai Committee and vice mayor of Shanghai.
