Zong Ming, vice mayor of Shanghai, is in charge of health, medical insurance, culture and tourism, Taiwan affairs, protecting the rights of children and womenand protecting cultural relics left by Sun Yat-sen and Soong Ching-ling.

She supervises the Municipal Health Commission (the Municipal Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine), the Municipal Medical Insurance Bureau, the Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism (the Municipal Radio Broadcasting, Film and Television Administration, the Municipal Cultural Heritage Administration), the Municipal Taiwan Affairs Office.

Zong Ming, female, Han Chinese, a CPC member, born in January 1963. She was an on-the-job postgraduate and holds a doctoral degree of laws. She now serves as vice mayor of Shanghai, director of the Shanghai Hongqiao International Central Business District Administration and director of the Red Cross Society of China Shanghai Branch.
